It speaks of a creator who would dwell with His creation, of the righteous living with the sinner, of the eternal who took on flesh to live with the mortal. It is a name above all names, for by this name the heavens are moved and the earth is shaken.
It is the name “Immanuel”, God with us. His Holiness speaks of a God above us. His wrath speaks of a God against us. His grace, however, speaks of Immanuel, God with us.
